Gary,
Your (Max+1) routine works fine, until the day when you run into VFP buffering
when the records can be held in memory and not flushed out to disk. This occurs
during begin transaction.end transaction and even spuriously when using
standard VFP procedural instructions, especially in
That means you're pumping out spam out of their server.
Combofix was the only program that made a spam bot go away off of my computer.

Just a warming, that I neglected to say before, combofix sometimes messes up
scanner drivers, so just a heads-up.
You should be able to just either do it under services in computer
administration, or just right click the icon in the tray and disable it.
ComboFix worked smoothly and quarantine some .dat and .vir files.
I think that hotmail+messenger were hacked, because several of my
friends had the same problem.
You know age is a bitch, I deleted the All Users folder to the
Recycle Bin. Best part of my day restoring it.

Warning! Combofix is very dangerous and should not be used routinely. You
must make an image of your hard drive before proceeding in case something
goes wrong. I use Acronis to make drive images. It is an excellent and
reliable product.
Combofix only works on Windows XP. I haven't found any
Before it started ComboFix downloaded an update and worked fine in my system,
W7 Pro.

I have repaired 4 or 5 Windows 7 systems now using combofix with no problems as
long as you download the update as Eurico said.

I'll see if I can find the upgrade. The last time I used it on Windows Vista
several months ago, there was no upgrade.

Hey Ed - I have to agree with on this. Its TOTALLY Annoying - when all I
want to do is just renew my Domain - and I have to deal with SCREEN
after SCREEN of more things they try to sell me - before I can get to
the Bloody Checkout. But, alas - once I get past that - I find them to
be OK. Its
Very nice;

I switched all my domains from GoDaddy a few years ago due to their
disgusting advertising, and so far have been very happy with
Namecheap. Not only are the prices good, you aren't subjected to all

I took a look at namespace.com, and their prices seem cheaper than
directNIC. I wonder if you have to have your web/mail/db server hosted
by namespace.com to take advantage of their low rates?
DirectNIC might be better for those who are up to running their own
