business version, which has American support and which allows more freedom
on the operating system choices. They also don't install a bunch of junk on
the machine that needs to be cleaned off.
The Dell business machines have work

Not a rumour. Their business class machines still ship with either XP
or include a CD that will allow you to "downgrade" the Vista
installation. Not the case for their current consumer computers, as far
as I can recall anyhow.

No gaimeing so 2 Ghz (single processor) range should be good.
Reasonably priced (with reasonable support) is good, cheap probably is not.
