Hi Geoff, Once you get into the work flow in PT you get in to the habit of toggling num pad off and on when needed. :) I jump back in forth dozens of times in a session. To clarify a bit hit VO Clear on the num pad then do your VoiceOver task, then toggle back and perform your PT task with the

I use the Magic Track Pad but only occasionally. It helps when trying to quickly navigate larger sessions with higher track counts. I know Mike Lockett is a proponent of the track pad. It takes a little getting used to but it's apparently useful, given the time to incorporate it into one's
