Hey John, My comment wasn't meant as a correction at all—simply a qualification. I use Shuttle mode all the time for navigating. I was merely mentioning one of the caveats of shuttling as a side note. Cheers, Slau > On Jun 24, 2020, at 5:07 PM, John Covici wrote: > > OK, I stand corrected --

Yes, I have used this from time to time. I suppose I prefer using FT for typing start values rather than the star key, as I don’t have to mentally keep track of where I am, since a single press of command f1 gives me my current start time. From: ptaccess@googlegroups.com On Behalf Of Sl

Hi John, Using this type of shuttling does work quite well. The only limitation is that it's limited to a maximum of two channels of audio. For mono or stereo material, it's great—quick and easy but, if you're trying to get through a session file with multi-tracked instrumentation, you'll hear

Just piggy backing on this. One thing I often do is with flotools, command f1 twice quickly, and type in a start value. SO If I want to jump 10 or 20 bars I’ll just change my start value by those amounts. From: ptaccess@googlegroups.com On Behalf Of Slau Halatyn Sent: Wednesday, June

Hi Steve, If you have the preference checked for "audio during fast forward and rewind," you can advance while hearing brief snippets while the transport forwards and rewinds through the timeline. Another option is to change your nudge value to something like 4 or eight bars and advance the ins

Hey guys. I’m just wondering if there is an easy way of skipping through a session in PT. I have afeeling this may not be possible. How ever is there a way of skipping quickly through a session by more than one bar at a time. I know the number 1 and two keys on the num pad skip through bar by ba
