Hi all, since this seems to be a topic getting some traction I'll tell
you all I can about owning a Console 1. I've been using it for 2 months
now and I do like it a lot. There will be a large learning curve because
it's an extremely visual unit but you can get
by enough to make it work. The
Hi Peter, may I suggest a different work around? You can go to import
which is (Command, Shift I) then navigate to the folder you're files are
in. Assuming they're all in one folder use (VO Home) to go to the top of
the list or use first letter navigation for a specific file. You can
then use
Martin, yes, don't bother downloading those because it's nearly
impossible to get the loops working correctly for the patches.
Furthermore, I would say more than 50% were not working at all in
Structure 2.0. Yes Slau, that's exactly what you said but I
misinterpreted it thinking that Structure
Hey guys, I put up the presets with the Korg m3 and Motif
libraries a while ago and then took those out subsequently uploading new
presets to PTWS. That would explain why Slau doesn't have them. I don't
know how the old version got back up there but please don't waste time
with downloading or
Hi Slau, I recently did an install on another machine and for me it was
very straight forward. First I installed what needed to be installed on
the system drive. Then I did the large factory libraries on a slave SSD
drive. After that I did the updates and the Komplete Kontrol software in
that
Hey Slau, when I first got Ultimate it shipped on a drive. The problem
was when they updated the library between versions it was then mandatory
that you downloaded the entire library again through various different
instrument downloaders which was extremely cumbersome and time
consuming. A USB
Hey Slau, I've had the S61 since it was first released. I've been using
it with Komplete 10 Ultimate without any self voicing features and it's
definitely very usable. Naturally either going by memory or having a
list of what to do is essential. Recently NI changed the features of how
the UI
Hey Slau, first off I honestly do commend your stamina in sticking with
making so many strides to further Pro Tools accessibility throughout the
years. Like yourself I'm a old timer when it comes to Digidesign.
Possibly the longest but not making any assumptions. :) I've been using
it since
Hey Kev, I use SS trigger and SS drums daily both in studio and live
sound. There's no UI for VO but it works perfectly with a control
surface. It can import wav files so you can use it for any drum samples.
You can also trigger it through midi sources if you have a project with
bad midi drum
Slau, I actually called Avid today so I won't panic about loss of use.
:) They said 2018 is the official cut off date they were told. Although
the non supported clause is in effect they basically said they would try
to trouble shoot as much as they could if things went wrong but as far

Hi, I use the D|control every day with 12 and no problems at all. At
this point both have been discontinued accept the S series which is the
new product line of surfaces. Avid-Digidesign has always had a good run
with their products long after the sleep dates. That's why I would bank
on a
Hi Katie, I've been using multiple surfaces over the years and for the
investment I don't think the C24 is worth anything over the current Ebay
price which is between 3000 and 4500 used depending on the condition.
Certainly if you were going to spend anything near 10,000 the better bet
would
I had the exact same problem and symptoms. I trashed the VO prefs and
all of the PT prefs at one time. Although I believe it was the VO prefs
I felt it would be best to start with a clean slate for both. I never
had that problem again.

If you do a lot of editing or mixing I think this would be incredible if
it were accessible. I haven't tried it yet because I literally just got
the link but check out this video which you can hear and imagine what
he's talking about. It's like Quick Keys or Keyboard Maestro on steroids
and
For someone like you that does 24 tracks of vox and flying things in
choruses and verses imagine the time saving ability of doing it all with
one button. I'm imagining the intense editing capabilities one could
utilize without scripting. Slate isn't the best with accessibility but

Dude, please calm down. You're very argumentative in your tone and it
was you who said
Which version of Pro Tools included Shift-comma and Shift-period? All
the way back to version 5, there was no such control. Before that, we're
talking
Pro Tools 4 which was around 1997. Were you using Pro
You're not going crazy at all. In PT 11 and higher this bug has existed
all along. I spoke with Brandon a tech since this was happening and Avid
is aware that sometimes when either engaging or disengaging the
transport at random times slip and shuffle mode default to where they
were
Aha, see, that's what Quickeys does to you. I meant shift comma and
shift period. That was invoked in the earliest versions of PT that I can
remember. A control surface isn't much better or at least not 100% of
the time for transport controls. Both the C|24 and D-command are having
the same
I have both versions and 2 is completely unaccessible. I worked around
it using QK scripts but it isn't worth the time because loading each set
will take 2 minutes and you can't change any parameters unless you
create more scripts which in tern will take more loading time for each
element you
Hey Slau, I was just curious if you feel it's more user friendly from a
blind perspective than Quickeys? I posted close to a year ago that I'm
still using Quickeys on OS 10.9.3 and being a power user I've been using
it for years and never had a problem with it in terms of doing
everything not
Hey Slau, FYI inserts on the C|24 are A through E: 6, 10, 14, 18 and 22.
Shift with function keys for the rest plus sends.

Hi, you did say my question is 3 times. :) That's a joke. However, you
could have shortly worded the post by saying, I was wondering if audio
that's slightly out of tempo can be quantized?
Generally if it's not too bad you can use elastic which Chuck had a
detailed explanation about a while

That's funny, it's actually a forwarded email from someone to someone
else and then to me, hence the forwards in the subject. I did delete the
post though and I don't know about the # # part but one would think
that's tied to the software. I do actually have the version 2 of this

That was the one thing I was discussing with Paul over at Slate
Digital. I'm currently creating all of the presets for Trigger which
will work the same way as Structure and Strike. BTW, Slate is having a
sale on Trigger 2 Platinum which is great for $99. You get something
like 46 kicks, 36
I've gotten some nice responses from Paul Hessings with Slate Digital.
Right now Trigger 2 is completely accessible and previous versions were
not. You can use it without a control surface but you'll have to scroll
through about 170 parameters with Voiceover. I've explained to Paul the
trouble
Yes, of course the age old preset problem still exists which I have
mediated through Paul and hopefully did not fall on deaf ears but for
now we can circumvent that the same way as Structure, Strike etc. I'll
have them all mapped out soon.

You will need sighted assistance for these steps. The Structure
Plug-in

To allow Structure to find the samples belonging to the factory library
patches, do not separate the folder named Structure Encrypted Samples
and the Patch
folder named Structure Factory
