First, Kevin, thank you for posting this...this X32 producer seems like
exactly what I have been looking for in a control surface/audio

Hello,
One of the main reasons to convert instrument tracks to audio is to free up
system resources. A virtual instrument drains more from your system than
the equivalent audio file. Actual MIDI tracks are more for outboard MIDI
gear or if you want to have several MIDI tracks that are
meters read by voiceover. Also, I
agree with the person who said that it would be good to be able to
type in values for parameters in plugins.

Hi Slau,
Thanks for the info. Also, I see that Avid is offering a paid
subscription plan for updates etc. Does this mean that we have to pay
for the meters to be fixed?
Regards,

Hi Jason,
Free updates continue as usual. The subscription plan is a way for Avid to
secure a steady cash flow. You may recall that, for HD users, the upgrade

There is also the artist control which has a touch screen, and the
artist transport, and the artist colour.
I should mention that you can do basic transport on the artist mix.
Hope this helps.

Hello all,
I downloaded the Pro Tools 11.0.2 version in the hopes that I would be able

only version available is this 11.0.2 version prior to

better but the mBox pro more tightly integrated with Pro Tools. Any

BTW - I havve read that there are transport buttons on the mix as alternate

the advice.
