Hi john. i gave it a go, this seems not to work for me. When i hit shift option
plus and then hit hit space to play i get nothing until i hit enter again to
move the cursor. command shift plus seems to clear the out point. Think i’m
missing a step somewhere.

track can not be enabled because active input and output have not been assigned.
now, here is what i have set up. I have the track selected. on the input i
