Hi Alex,
Flo tools does work with Ultimate but it would be misleading to say that
Ultimate is a requirement, per se. Hope that makes sense.

Hi all,
I was just wondering if Flo Tools is compatible with Pro Tools Ultimate. I

Editing video is certainly possible with Pro Tools|Ultimate. Just like editing
multiple audio tracks, both the audio and video track must be selected and it
works just like editing anything else in Pro Tools. No support for any video
effects but straight edits are possible.

Yeah, forgot to mention that if you just want to edit audio to say, sink it up
with the video track (s) you can do it in logic, however for actually editing
the video itself you'll need either reaper or final cut.

Logic works similar to what’s being described here in Pro tools you can edit
the audio for the video but not the video itself. Reaper and Final cut are
probably what you would want to look at for Video editing. I haven’t tried
final cut myself but use Reaper at the moment.

As far as I know, your only options for video editing are logic, reaper or
final cut pro is usable. I don't think video editing is accessible in pro tools.

All,
Does Flo Tools work for selecting and editing video tracks? I need to edit
an imported video, using the audio as guide. I am having trouble figuring
out if the video track is selected. Has anyone edited video files in Pro
Tools with or without Flo Tools commands? As of now, my shuffle
Hi guys,
If you have an Avid subscription "support" plan, just contact tech support and
they will do a remote desk top and bang your done.
Heres the main reason why you should do this.
While you have tech on the phone and logged in to your box ask them to file a

I figured out ways to work around the window scrolling issue.
1. Find the horizontal scroll bar
2. Move the mouse to it
3. Mouse down.
4. Issue mouse movement commands using Flo Mouse.
5. As long as mouse pointer ignores VO cursor, do VO + Home to check which
plugin is now visible.

Hey Vic. If you can't get the Avid download manager to play ball then you can
always grab those files from your account on the Avid website.

Slightly unrelated but related...
I am able to download app updates, however, having difficulties with plugin
updates.
For example, clicking on either the "download" or "more information"
element next to each plugin, does not do anything.
I understand XPand!2 is available free of charge to Protoo

Hi Martin,
You don't need to install anything unless it's an updated version. Actually,
the application Manager does a decent job of being more granular about what's
current and not current. Unfortunately, it's super clumsy to navigate. If you
specifically have trouble, you can examine the statu
Thank you for your question. I am in the process of upgrading to the
