I've left the studio so I can't remember exactly where this is but, I'd take a
look at the Preferences and make sure that the checkbox for solos following
groups is off. Maybe that'll help get you to the functionality you want.

Right now, that's a major want, but can't afford it. I have to balance what
now is luxury vs. what I truly need/can afford. Smile.
Nice interface though, I'll grant you that.

Andy,
I can't quite do that, as this interface, for one, only has 1 headphone out. I
plan however to get that fixed eventually. Right now though, I only can have
one pare of headphones connected at a time. It royally sucks, but you do what
you gotta do.

Send the wet mix through a bus assigned to their headset. Then, send the dry
mix through a bus routed to your headset. When you mix the session down to a
distributable track, mute the wet mix so it doesn’t get included in the final
bounce.

Brian,
There's no reason why moving to a different section of the song should erase
what you've recorded earlier. If you're recording to the first track and have
verified that the recording was done, disarm the track record enable button,
enable the next track, move to the section and start
Tim,
Forget about the stand-alone version. The AAX is accessible. I can't explain
how to use it. Just like any other plug-in, interact with the parameters,
change them and observe the results. Also, I know it's perhaps challenging for
you but you simply have to read the manual if you haven't
Hi Tim,
Hopefully, you'll understand how difficult it is to give step-by-step
instructions because there's no way I can know what your starting point is.
However, I'll try to explain exactly what I would do myself if I were
experiencing problems.
1. I'd make sure no other applications are
Command-click on the send to toggle it on and off of bypass.

hi Chris.
In a DAW, effects never get recorded whatsoever. that is because they
don't get inserted between your microphone and the track, but on the
track itself. So you can change your effect settings, remove it, or do
anything you want after the recording is done.
Try it for yourself before
Guys,
I have a situation that I'm a little unsure how to deal with. I have an Alesis
Multi-Mix 4 USB audio interface. This thing's pretty much bare bone as basic
as they come. There is absolutely no effects on this thing at all. Absolutely
none. They do make a model that has effects
Hi guys. What is the best way of getting a reading of the R M S level of a
track in pt. I’m wanting to master in pt, and would like to find out what the r
m s level of my final mastered track is.
interested to find out the simplest way of doing this.

Hi Brian,
You have to set the output of the reverb aux to the same outputs used for your
other tracks. Your dry signals will then be blended with the wet signals from
the reverb track.
Best,

Hello folks,
What do I do if I am all of a sudden in my send assignments, and one of them
randomly says bypassed. How do I turn bypass off on a send? Thanks,

Hello folks,
So I am working on recording these vocal parts, and there are two tenor parts
and a baritone part. They are all singing at different sections of the song,
but I am trying to record each part separately. So right now I am working on
recording the first tenor part for this song,
I believe I did do that because my output was set to output 1 and 2 stereo, but
do I need to output it to my master fader or output 1 and 2 since that’s what
my master fader is going out to? Thanks,

Hi Brian,
When you use the “New Track” command in the send assignment, PT will both
create a new bus and a new aux track with the same name. I assume this is the
new aux track you refer to. But you did not mention that you allocated the
output of this aux track to your master, so if you didn’t
Hello all,
I am working on tracking some vocal parts this morning, and I wanted to add
some verb that I could hear in my ears. Apparently, what I am doing is not
working. I will try to describe what I did. Maybe I am missing something.
1. I interacted with the track that I am recording my
Hi Slau:
You said auto tune AAX plug in is very accessible with voice over on Mac,
You can briefly explain how to use?
If in stand alone, can accessible?
