I haven't tried this and actually I don't see the need for it. IPython's
features will most probably not show up in the Python shell of the IDE. The
Custom python interpreter is meant to name a python interpreter to run the
debugger client side.

Remote debugging just means to start the debugger (once installed) on a remote
host. This is done via a remote shell configurable on the debugger

to exit from eric causes another exception dump, and eric will
not exit. So I have to kill its process to get out.
Unfortunately I cannot reproduce the problem here.

and in the next snapshot of the 3.6 development.
