Hi,
excuse me for intruding your developers list . Since last week I am
watching the news from Japan and also found forwarded message from japan
qgis translator. I came to this idea. I know that the last version was named
after the mine in Chile, where the accident happened. What do you think

Agreed. I also wouldn't like to link every version of QGIS to

Could you argue this sentence?
Thanks,

In addition, this does not seem a short term solution, and I think we
need something working smoothly *now*.

+1 - I wouldn't like to connect the QGIS name with disasters all the
time.
I think there are other ways to declare our solidarity with the
Japanese people.
I thought we already decided on 'Wroclaw' as the next name?

Hi all.
Apparently, adf files are filtered out by the plugin, even if all
supported files is selected, and adf files are supported by current
GDAL installation: is this a local problem?
All the best.

I would strongly prefer to use names that connect QGIS releases with
some positive feelings.
Copiapó had nothing to do with negative feelings... on the contrary it
was suggested because after all it was a location know everywhere for
positive reasons... the miners were rescued :)
Hi Paolo,
I always see a small shift when I clip rasters with gdaltools,
regardless of the format.
Apparently the tool it does
not take into account the correct georeferencing.
Not sure about this, but in my tests the clipped image has the same
system of the input one.
I used trunk on both

Just small remark: Wrocław is properly spelled Wrocław (requires an
unicode character). I've fixed it.
Hopefully it won't make any trobubles on some American operating systems or
so...

Hi All
Please note that string freeze should now be in effect. Werner if you
could update the ts files and get the translators to do their thing
that would be great!
Bug fixing can continue in trunk (but no string changes please),
planned branch for release date remains at 7 April.
We'll aim to
Thanks I had left if ASCII-fied (can I say that? :-) because I
remember last time we had issues with unicode, and also I have no idea
how to make that funny 'l' on my keyboard. Lets leave it with the
'proper' spelling until we encounter a problem.
Actually we do already. Well, at least please

Did you fix the plugin installer to cope with utf-8 in the release name on
