Hi,
how long does it usually take for a plugin being approved? I uploaded
two new experimental plugins a week ago, but neither received a question
nor a approval notification

Is this a bug (shall I file a bug)? Can it be fixed or is this a Qt5 limitation
(I don’t hope so)?

Hallo,
anyone interested in SAML2 support for QGIS as well? We are searching for
cofounding (and may be someone willing to develop the feature).

Hi Alexandre,
you easily could start QGIS with --lang option to force a specific
language. E.g. $ qgis --lang en_US
On Windows you have to add this to the qgis.bat file, as on Windows qgis
is not startetd by executing a *.exe directly
Best regards

Hi Matteo,
I guess you are missing an understanding for OSMs data model. OSM is
very flexible in adding attributes to a feature by adding key/value
pairs. If this is to be represented in a GIS data away (table) you have
to convert the data importing just relevant keys (each becoming a
column),
worked out great! Thanks for your help.

hi Finbar,
you could use select by expression and use geometry functions available in the
Expresions dialog to create the readius (e.g. buffering the point, created ba
geometry_from_text). If you need thisvery often, you could create a simple
model with the preocessing plugin doing what i

Hi,
1. i try to run qgis' voronoipolygons algorithm from processing toolbox
in a python script (processing-script or standalone)
For testing I loaded a shape and a postgis layer to a
QgsMapLayerRegistry. I can sucessfully run
processing.runalg('qgis:voronoipolygons', shape-layer, 0, outShpVec)
is if wrapping the fcgi through a shell
script decreases performance (by bypassing fcgi advantages).
May be @Marco_Hugentobler (who knows more about fcgi and performance)
can say word on this.

Hi Paolo,
if you want to shorten URLs you also can pass the request through a
shell script (or whatever script executable by apache and called instead
og qgis_mapserv.fcgi) and change the parameters. Something similar to
this file foo.cgi:
code
#!/bin/bash
export
I thought there also was the target or wish making QGIS able to
read/interpret the old labels (e.g. when opening a 1.8 qgs project
file). My experiences are that this does not work. (Even using the old
label dialog in qgis-master does not work properly) Therefore IMHO the
old labeling is useless.
Hi,
even GetCapabilities of a QGIS mapserver WMS tells jpeg is a valid
format for GetLegendGraphic request, trying this format results in an
exception telling that GetMap does not support jpeg format but it
works with the not listed jpg. Pull request #554 [1] adds jpg, jpeg,
image/jpg and
I am very interested in participating in this as it points out to be a
main topic in the EU and also targets performance dicussions.

how about creating more dependencies to python-libs, ... by adding

discussion. IMHO it's not good to add plugins to core that make it
necessary to install e.g. mysql with qgis.
