I'm running QGIS 2.2 and I'd like to load an image downloaded from here
[1] (e.g. A4B3) in TIF format.
I can see the image in Explorer in the correct way but, when I try to
load it in Qgis, the process is slow and finally only a part of the
image is shown, as if there is some sort of mask i

Hi guys, finally I found that the problem was related to the proxy
settings in qgis option panel. Inserting the right values of the proxy
server, all the connections were established! Many thanks to Marco,
Richard and Jonathan that answered to my (wrong) question very quickly
and in detail.

I enjoyed to use qgis (2.0.1 dufour) in my research work and I'd like to
use it in my hydrological class.
The computers room that I use has very limited security rules and so,
only port 80 is open for external connection (mainly html).

I've used QGIS for some time and I was happy to discover its
server-client version because I hope to make a webgis in the future.
So, I successfully installed the QGIS server application from OSGeo and
I tested it with a sample project: it works!
Then I downloaded the client application.
