[Qgis-user] geocoding

Is it possible to geocode a list of addresses? I have the geocoding plugin loaded and it works (api key sorted out) but not sure how to get the list of addresses into qgis as they have no x,y location info at the moment. Am sure this question asked before but could not find the answer. Dr Mi

I recently tried the hqgis plugin which leverages the here api and it seemed to work fine for my purposes. I used the free tier so your number of API calls will be limited but if you are using above that you should probably be using a commercial service anyway and you can just upgrade as needed. I

That's how I would do it. I've developed a geocoder for a customer once (before Nominatim had its current quality). It's a lot of work… There is also a difference between type-in (online) geocoding and from-file (offline/batch) geocoding. In the first case, the user can see results and correct
