Hi all..
Can anyone suggest an authentication scheme for courier-imap when using
qmail-ldap ?
How should I compile authentication into ciourier if qmail-ldap is going to
handle authentication via ldap ?
Dennis
ucspi-tcp packages.

Hi all...
Anyone use pam_smb for authenticating users ?
Question, is it possible to setup a users account automatically, as per
qmail_ldap, when using pam_smb ? How can I interact with pam_smb to make it
setup the user if he/she authenticates via our NT server ?
Dennis
Stupid question but I'll ask it anyway...
I have an email account setup as "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
If I want to alias "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" do I just
add a .qmail-john to the users ~homedir ?

Hi all...
I'm looking to implement the calendar, tasks, notes etc features available
in Outlook with qmail and courier-imap
Does anyone know of any product that allows for the complete integration of
Outlook and qmail/courier-imap without having to use MS Exchange
*shudder*...

HI all...
If this question has been asked before, please accept my apologies.
I am wondering if it is at all possible to authenticate qmail users via a
similar method as per qmail-ldap but from NT domains ?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello to one and all (especially the list managers)
Can I make a suggestion
Why don't we prefix the subject header with [qmail].
It makes filtering a lot easier.
feedback ?
Hi all...
I've had this problem for a few weeks now.
Qmail keeps tripple bouncing, it then says it's deleted the email, message
from a host not it rcphosts, cool...
Only problem, it's been doing it for 3 weeks now.
Any suggestions ?

Hi all...
Quick and dirty question... sorry if it's been asked before.
How would I implement an "email all" feature in qmail ?

There is going to be a secure, private, address book list also.
Is this possible ?
Is there a web interface for LDAP that allows this ?

Hi all...
It seems like I have an email that does not want to be delivered.
[EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] keeps complaining about the host
not being in it's list of rcphosts file tada yada yada
I've looked in the local and remote queue dir's but can't see anything. It
does deliver all
Hi all...
Anyonbe have any idea why a copy of the sent email is not placed in the SENT
mail folder with QMail and Courier-imap ??
Dennis
Hey all...
Can Qmail support both POP3 and Maildir simultaneously ?
I'd like people to have the option.
If so, what do you guys suggest using ?

Sure, but will a running qmail complain if the dir's are being accessed
while the backup is taking place ?
Also, I'd like the backup to be automated for tape aka BRU, company policy.
And i'm talking about 20 to 50 gigs of email.
Suggestions ?

Howdy qmailers
I have been burnt again. This is the second
list that I have subscibed to and it just so happens that it is also the second
list I have had trouble unsubscribing from. Perhaps one of you knows the secret
of how to do this and will be kind enough
ropriate run levels. I added chkconfig and source function library
entries to /etc/rc.d/init.d/qmail and all goes well.

Hello,
I am user dennis on a machine called dencar.powerup.com.au. I have just had a
message rejected by a remote host as follows:

Hi. this is the qmail-send program at dencar.powerup.com.au. I'm afraid I'm

Also, I believe that checkpoppasswd requires that the password in the

I was able to get this method to authorize, but had to add the path to
qmail-pop3 and the delivery type, i.e.:
/var/qmail/bin/qmail-popup earth.care2.com /bin/checkpasswd
/var/qmail/qmail-pop3d Maildir
as per man qmail-popup.
