I'm trying to install qmailtoaster on a pretty old Fedora3 server but
the scripts hangs with the following messages
This is releated to the installation of the courier-authlib
toasterI've tried several thingsany precious suggestion ?

option.but just what is shown here below:
/usr/bin/qmailctl {start|stop|cdb|help}
Hints ?

I've just noticed that there are some updated packages, one of them is
qmail-toaster.
May I know what is the changelog? Is there any new feature?
Is there any pitfall that I must avoid in upgrading it?

I removed that file. I then had to log into the account via
Squirrelmail, log back out, and log back in to get the system to
re-create the file, now showing the proper size.

Just to be safe, I would do a qmailctl restart.
It sounds like there is a failure much earlier in the script and this is
only a symptom of that failure. Can you look back through your script
output and see if there are any previous failures?

MX record pointing to a CNAME rather than to an A record, or even to an
IP address they are configured incorrectly.

much mail if anything does not look right. One of the things they say
NOT to do is to put the IPs of their MX servers into your

The simcontrol spam blocker (above12) works fine. It was added
recently and works as advertised.
Natalio, you may want to check the header to ensure that spamassassin
is kicking in, and check to ensure that spamassassin is running
(spamd).

It might be associated the php's register global's being off. In this
tutorial, they say turn register globals on, change the password, then turn
them back off.. and I was never sure why they said to do that.

the latest vpopmail from the development site. More than likely MySQL
5 is kicking your authlib off. You can verify by checking the logs.
You have two options:
1)Add wait_timeout = 432000 to the [mysqld] section of your my.cnf
