I was updating some sites.
I wanted to remove a table for an old site in the vpopmail
database well when I deleted the table it actually deleted the
whole
when I ran the RPM it created the database for me again.. and the user
was still there. in mysql.. so I don't think that was the problem.. but
I'm not sure.. I'll try what you have here..
thanks.

.. so something is happening with the password I think..
not sure what it is...

I did notice another thing.. my uid and gid for vpopmail and vchkpw are
both 89.. but in the config.h file in the /home/vpopmail/includes
directory.. the #define VPOPMAILUID 510 and same for VPOPMAILGID .. so
I'm not sure if this is significant

What does your log file say? It could also be a memory issue.

did you have to uninstall the toaster version of clamav and then just
install the new rpm?
I run on fedora core 6 and I have found the updated rpm for clamav but

Hello everyone,
I have a question, I set my server up to accept mail from (domain1.com)
incase the primary server goes down. well I've got that part working but
it seems to me that I am getting mail for other domains in my remote queue.
why is that? I only have 3 domains in my rcpthosts file
the installation.
the only thing I didn't do in the installation is I didn't setup the
djbdns and I didn't add any domain keys. and when I do a qmailctl stat
it doesn't show spamd in there. so I am assuming I need to re set that up.

Check your /etc/tcprules.d/tcp.smtp file and check to see if the config
is right and then if you have to change something make sure that you do
a qmailctl cdb to reload the cdb files..
I had the same problem.. and I had to change mine.. but I'm not sure if
I even have mine setup

I have noticed that the spamd service is not running, also I don't see
anything in the maillog about simscan scanning the mail. also I don't
see anything in the mail headers that shows that it was scanned is there
something wrong.. also I don't see the spamd folder in the supervise
directory
