I was surfing the web and found two Hosting Control Panel software which look very promising. ISPConfig VHCS I think I'll get rid of Plesk and switch to either one of them. I don't like the idea of using open source software for my server. And the whole does x work with y thing get's obsolete.

rpm wouldn't complain of sendmail were installed by hand. If you're having problems where sendmail is not installed, yet will not remove, then you probably have a corrupt rpm database. If you're hosed this early on, you might want to reinstall the OS, perhaps following the information from the EZ

If you dont mind, i want to try answer you problem :) You can try to use this syntax : #rpm -e --nodeps sendmail #rpm -e --nodeps qmail #rpm -e --nodeps another-file-dependencies. May be still any dependencies from qmail or sendmail. Then you rebuild and install again your qmail-toaster. *) #rpm
