hi
i have a very busy email server
during peak times the number of simultaneous pop3 connections go between
75 - 90 simultaneous connections
my current softlimit in the pop3/run file is 900 ie 9 mb
do i need to increase the softlimit for pop3 ?

there are no rejections as such
i believe softlimit is the total memory allocated for running the pop3

if i raise it to say 50 mb is there any problem that can come up ?
my server has 4 gb of ram with less than 1 gb

well recently one of my clients (around 50 users or so) could not telnet
to my pop3 server. telnet to 110 port was showing a blank screen
this problem was occurring to only this client and not others
i had also checked the total connection limit was 75 and pop3 log showed
around 75
