Hi Dave,I'm the same way about having air moving around me. I can't 'stand' to be in dead air. It seems like I can't breathe if the air isn't moving a little around me. It was 106F here yesterday. With Love, CtrlAltDel aka DaveC4/5 Complete - 30 Years PostTexas, USA [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Dave, have you been ill? Please tell me you are better. My prayers are with
you, my friend. Larry
Mine is always a cold sweat. Before I discovered ditropan, I would go to work with a towel around my neck. Miserable.
I went to College with a towel around my neck AND dated my now husband that way too.

Hi Greg,You're doing it the best way. Get a chair that s fitted to your body. My new chair is fast and feels stable too. It's a Pride Mobility Quantum 6000. Check it out at: http://www.pridemobility.com/quantum/PowerBases/MidWheel_6/6000/6000.htmlWith Love, CtrlAltDel aka DaveC4/5
I was trying to find the fastest chair made and to my surprise Bounder makes a chair that goes 11.5 mph!
That's fast for a chair.

I once saw a Pride Jazzy going down a hill at more than 15 mph until I
realize it was in freewheel. Never knew if it ever made it to the bottom
of the hill. I think that Mark (Mr Wheelchair Junkiie) was driving it at
the time. Check out wheelchairjunkie.com

Ironic that sweating is natures way of removing some of the toxins that
build up in your body, in addition to its cooling. What do you think
happens to those toxins when one doesn't sweat?

The very first chair that I got back in 1980 was an E J. (Everest and Jennings) with a low, slingback back on it that came about to my shoulder blades.
In 1984 or 1985 I was looking into getting another power chair. At that time I found and decided upon one called a "Fortress Scientific"
I prefer the high Jay-type back
that is contoured.

The Q6 and X5 are real similar in many ways it seems, the X5 suspension is strange because you can't pop a wheely your back tiresand CWD won't let you but if you take off at top speed your front tires leave the ground and this is for climbing curbsI hear because it's calibrated in the torch
I'll pass it on.
