Hi all, Bill H. here.
Maybe this post will help someone on the list or someone a list member might
know. I had written asking if anyone here was quadriparesis. It is a new term
for me but is finally my official diagnosis.
Some years ago I was originally diagnosis with slowly progressive ALS.
Hello Bill H,
I've never heard of quadriparesis before but I understand now that you've
explained it.
Besides that I don't have any knowledge about the condition itself but I'm
positive this list can help in many ways.

because of spinal cord issues. It's progressive involving ALL peripheral motor
nerves.

Hi Mark. Well, to answer your question, my onset was about 1995. First I lost
the use of my left hand and then 6 months later my right hand and then the
paralisis began to spread to my left leg and then finally my right leg. This
is why the medical field thought I was suffering from ALS.

Man I remember those crazy thoughts, I guess we all had some point where it
felt hopeless.
I have no recollection of my first 4 weeks following my accident but I
remember nightmares I had and they were just vividly crazy.
The finger stuff is just plain frustrating but it comes with the package.
Hey Tod, it's been quite some time.
Please give us an update on what's been going on.
I believe you're a teacher correct?
