Maybe not your ordinary spam but rather an imformative article on something
that may work well with Quads and the problems that are associated with
those manufacturing the product.

I don’t consider it spam either. I find it imformative and promising that
someone other than a large company is trying to develop items that enhance our
lives. I feel the people that think outside the box and are not looking for a
profit margin to sooth their board of directors are the ones
Hi All,
I saw a psychologist last week, it was the first part before going to
see the pain Doctor who will prescribe my new and improved pain meds. I
thought it was a JOKE! They, Kessler, had mailed me a 15 page form to fill out
regarding my pain - where is it, what meds am I on now and on
I'm looking for some things that I don't know where to look. Firstly some kind
of writing aid. I can write, but lack coordination doing it and it's
unreadable to others. I need to get checks out. I seem to remember a grade
school gadget that allows one to draw designs and shapes. It's thin
Yes, Bobbie..it is hard for an able bodied OR even a Doctor to completely
understand all the pain/pains-- that are part of spine and nerve related
issues we quads can have--- And some of us ( like me ) ( perhaps you also )
have progressing Syringomyelia. I have had increasing pain and

There is a lot to be said for standing up for yourself.
Good luck tomorrow.

Wow, I just signed into e-mail here thinking of all the pain I am in and
how hard it is to concentrate when the pain is worse than other times. Like
today and over the last couple days.
Syringomyelia is at the crux of *my* pain problem (like Danny described
below) and I consider THAT to be my
Amen to that Lori--I see you understand a lot of it---by the way, you have been
dealing with that pressure sore quite a while correct??? is it getting any
better? If so what treatments or methods seem to help it most? Dan H.

Thanks Darrel! I hope you can get the Hands-Free Land-Line up and
running. It would be a Godsend for us quads that can't afford Cell
phones. Please keep up the good work.

I use a Wanchik Writer http://store.ergocube.com/wanchikswriter.html
It slips over your palm and hold a pen or pencil.
I use it for my fork and spoon also, I just have to tape them on. I have 2 sets, I keep one set in my backpack incase I'm out about and want to stop somewhere to eat. They are
I think this e-mail is not only fine, but one of the reasons for the List. It might not help everyone, but there are some who will be helped. No e-mail is going to be wanted by everyone. Sure it's selling something, but it's something directed towards quads.I say let us know if you make anything
I never had to go see a psychologist when I started seeing a pain doctor, but I had to fill out lots of paperwork.
Every appointment I need to fill out 3 or 4 pages of questions. Asking where I hurt most, and second most. What type of pain, burning, throbbing, sharp, etc. Like 8 types of pain
