If so, they may require a new evaluation as your physical limits both

Larry, that is amazing. I had mine custom done, same as yours, in 1996. It was
new and Voc. rehab in RI paid for conversion. I am thinking I should try for a
new van and see if voc rehab will help me again. I still work so they should?
but, I don't want another full size van, I don't think
Larry, I had to stop driving altogether because of my balance and because the
position I have to sit in while driving was direct pressure on my issums.
I HATE not being able to drive. And it puts more onto what to do for me.

I use a chest strap too, but it doesn't help much unless I pull it really
tight. I fear my days of driving are limited as well. I've said it before,
growing old as a quad is a slow descent into hell. No human being should have
to endure what we do on a daily basis. I think the pain and anger
I had the exaxt issue. My chair repair shop bypassed that safty feature so it
no longer works.
I have to back in the side door. Only problem is once I came in too fast and
crashed into the inside of the van. The handlebar on the back of the chair went
straight through the big side window.
Shirley, driving has become much more difficult for me the last three years as

Cincinnati, Louisville, and Nashville (150-200 mi.)with no difficulty. Now I
limit myself to trips of 20-30 miles. I use a folded towel
On our old house ramp we painted it with lots of sand in it.

32 post injury. I'm having more health issues, most
worrisome or at least hardest to deal with are panic attacks. Not classic panic
attacks, mine are more worry attacks. I get stuck in a loop of obsessive
worrying. Mostly money, what's going to happen when old, etc. It leads
I should've mentioned that I am forced to back into my van because I am too
tall. Going in forward is not an option because I would hit the driver seat.
