Most states have a state equipment bank of communication devices that are
available for loan for 30, 60 and 90 days. Most are supported by the March
of Dimes and may go by Assistive Technology Group. Its FREE for the
asking.

Just watched the news, had a story about a hands free phone. Uses voice and head/eye movement. Looked cool, but I think they said $700. Only caught part of the story. Looked like it was a program for a smart phone, not a phone itself. But I might be wrong.

I am also in the market for a new phone.I am still using my first phone, a
candy bar style Nokia. ATT said they will no longer support it in a few months,
so I have no choice. The rest of my family have iPhones. Of course, I need
something easy to operate. Any Suggestions?

A Bluetooth headset to connect to the phone, because I cannot touch any buttons
unless I can reach them with my shoulders or head. :-) so I can do many things
hands free. So very cool.

This is *exactly *what mine is and looks like. I have to choose this
particular model because the button is big enough whereby I can push it
with my fist to activate it or to turn it off:

There are pairing instructions
What are you connecting to by bluetooth?

I agree with Joan. I have had a Samsung Galaxy IV for a year and a half
and, with my Motorola Bluetooth, it works just fine. If I do not want to
use my Bluetooth my caregiver or someone will put it on speakerphone for me.

Thinking about getting a cell phone. Which is better for doing things
by voice: iOS or Android?
