Maybe this post will help someone on the list or someone a list member might
know. I had written asking if anyone here was quadriparesis. It is a new term
for me but is finally my official diagnosis.
Some years ago I was originally diagnosis with slowly progressive ALS.
Hi Mark. Well, to answer your question, my onset was about 1995. First I lost
the use of my left hand and then 6 months later my right hand and then the
paralisis began to spread to my left leg and then finally my right leg. This
is why the medical field thought I was suffering from ALS.

Hi. Now that I have my new diagnosis, I am curious to find out if there are
any other quadriparesis or progressive quadriparesis on the list here.
If there are, I'm sure we have a few items of information to share that might
help one another.

Well I finally did it! I was given my diagnosis today. I only had to wait 6
years. Hopefully I can officially remain on the list because my diagnosis is
quadriparesis. This means I have weakness in all 4 limbs. I can't say I
approve of the term weakness as it can be misleading.
