I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but if it's the dictation box,
my version of NaturallySpeaking has a checkbox in the bottom left
corner labeled "Use automatic dictation box for this application." It
usually comes up if NaturallySpeaking isn't compatible with the

Is there anybody that uses the Windows Speech Recognition software that Jim

I do agree that waiting for a little while would probably be a little
better. I managed to get mine on sale for around 80 bucks for the middle of

Find out if thy have fixed the Flash bug.
Ver. 12 once installed would not let you view videos, movies, etc. in Explorer.
Just keeps saying you need to install Flash.Video worked ok in Google Chrome, but Dragon did not work as well in Chrome.

I've been using Dragon NaturallySpeaking for years and will definitely get the
upgrade. But don't believe the sale cutoff date. They always extend them!
And sometimes it pays to wait till they get all the bugs out…

Dan,
If you are happy with version 10, there is likely no need to upgrade to
version 11. I do recommend upgrading your version 10 to version 10.1 if you
have not already done so. I am pretty sure it is a free
download/installation. It fixes a number of problems with the original
release of version
