Odd. The machine ran no user processes and lost that amazing amount of

Well, it still loses time while it simply idles as well . . . just not as

Anyone on the list have experience with Quaddoublers? I have a Quadra

stability issues.

Thanks

While we're still on this subject, what non-68k logic board(s) could be
stuffed inside of a Performa 600 case?

Are you sure that AUX comes with all the source code you need to recompile
to fix bugs?
It doesn't, but I was more or less referring to replacing the AU/X programs
with Open Source equivilents.

I have 68mb in it with a 1gb hd. Video card is onboard; you don't need much
else to run Linux or BSD.

How difficult would it be to fix the exploits by compiling up-to-date

A while ago when I was considering installing AU/X I found a huge list of

I'm thinking about buying a Quaddoubler for my Quadra 700. Does anyone know
if OpenBSD 3.0 m68k will support it properly? I'm guessing since it's a
complete CPU replacement it shouldn't be much of a problem, but I'm not
sure. Don't want to throw down $100 for nothing . . .
