Howdy. The old humbled doc has been working on a crappot of X86
computers and giving them away to homebound and disabled people in my
hometown. I have given away about 70 of them. Here's my problem, I buy
the cases and stuff at auctions and have started a collection of lowend
macs that I am sure

Thanks but I've already made the trade. Do you need any hard drives or

Hi, this is Doctor Desperate again. I need 12 of the older style mice
that plug into the keyboard. I will be glad to trade anyone who has them
gathering dust in the garage eight Quantum 3.5 Series 500MB FRBLA
655-0232 Hard Drives for them. These all work as I have tested them.

Here is your Mac deprived and humble doctor again. I have 16 Mac LC580's
some of which the hard drives are blank or don't register at all. Some,
from various schools, has administrator passwords which stop me dead in
my tracks. I give these away to disabled and homebound people and have

This is the Mac-challenged, and humbled doctor requesting some
information on some monitors I got in a lot sale. They have a RCA plug
in in them and I have RCA cable. My question is, do these only fit in
prehistoric Macs that also have a RCA plug in or is there some kind of
adapter to use them on
ated to at ease.

I buy computers for next to nothing on Ebay, fix them up, and give them
to disabled people in the area. I have some Mac 5200/75's that came from
a school in Texas and they are controlled by a program called At Ease.
Lot of good educational programs included but you need to have a password

Thanks to all who responded. My daughter told me something like that one
time when I was trying to install a burner on her computer. I was
thoroughly pd off and left with it not working. She called me a few
days later and told me that she changed the speed and it worked just
fine. I have ye
I normally don't like to blow my own horn but the doctortom refers to my
PhD in Computer Technology. In the late 80's, I only used Macs but none
since. I recently got a Power Mac 5200/75 in an auction and am planning
to use it quite frequently. The problem I have been having is that it
has OS 7.
. Thanks.

I have OS 7.5.5 and am trying to open the Extensions in the Extensions
folder. I get a prompt that comes up and says that if I want to open
this Extension, I need to put it in the Extension folder. This happens
on all the Extensions and, yes, they are definitely in the Extensions
folder. I have

I have been searching the Internet and am looking for a place where I can
find pictures with instructions on what is on the back of various Macs.
Can anyone help. Thank you.
