If reseating the RAM don't do the trick, try replacing the clock battery, especially if the Quadra's been sitting around unused for any amount of time. Something's happening when you try to boot it, which means the clock battery is not completely gone, but there are quite a bit of problems trac

Hello, Just wondering if anyone might be able to assist with a "dead" Q610/DOS. Problem is that I get the 'Chimes of Death' on Boot and no Picture on the monitor. It has 16mb of RAM and is maxed on Vram. I'd like to get it up and running so I can get file off the HD. Any Ideas to try? Thank

Hi I once ran a PDS dos card in my Q650, and it worked just fine. The one problem was the cables. I have to use string to support the cable from inside the machine, and feed it through an empty nubus slot. Can't find copy of site where I got info how to do it again though. I did remember though
