I've had a similar problem with the clutch on my 2+2 over the years. My current working solution is to modify the auto adjustment quadrant to increase the distance from the pivot to the cable, thus increasing the amount of cable moved when pushing the pedal. This modification consists of 4 counters

When you were removing and refitting the cable were you holding the pedal up against the stop to release the pawl ? When you refit the cable you need to also hold it against the stop and pull the quadrant right round to reset it. The tab shouldn't need modifiying on a Quantum but some of the bu
