Afternoon Steve.
Must admit, I had a job finding it too! I think I found it by accident.

Look under Discussions for a post by Steve Hanley on 10th July. He has

My partner and I went to the Harte and Magpies in Beaconsfield on 10/07 to
have a look at the British Classic and American Car Club event that takes
place on second Tuesday of the month during the summer. We rolled up at
about 8:00pm and I almost fell out of the car laughing at the reaction fro
Hi Nigel.
Had a poke around with mine earlier and found 13.8V at the battery with
engine running. After scratching the detritus from the battery terminal
posts this showed a healthy 14.6V, so no problem with the alternator. I
turned my attention to a small cable coming off the negative post le
Hi Nigel. Mine is doing the same, only noticed it in the darker evening
and more pronounced with the headlights on. Tomorrow I am going to check
the output voltage which I believe should be 14.1V. Mine has three wires

Steve, will investigate. Was considering using it as a planter for my

I noted that the pepperpot is a 6J rim and it has a 185/60 R13 tyre on, the

Thank you everyone for your input, very helpful indeed. I like these
wheels, I can't imagine the car wearing anything else! I measured the
width of the rim as 6" when I balanced them so most likely they are a 6J.
I am changing the front brake calipers, when they arrive that is, and will
check

I've been looking at WheelBase for alternatives. Not sure what 5.5J and 6J
means but if I do replace the wheels I think
Thanks Jim.
No other numbers or markings on the wheels themselves. Profile of the rims
is fine, nice and flat inside and evidence of previous weights being
fitted. The profile was one of the default settings on the machine I used
to balance them - showing me where to place the new weights on i
Afternoon folks. I have lent my 2+2 to the motor department of the college
where I work. It will be cleaned up and displayed for an open evening on
Tuesday 15th March. In their zealous haste to clean the car up, the
