AFAIK, there is no straightforward way at the moment. Audio is handled by dom0,
while USB/Bluetooth is usually handled by a special AppVM (and and especially
Bluetooth shouldn't be handled by dom0). Maybe it will not be hard to implement
delegating audio to an AppVM, but it will require studying
addendum, I think this one is sorted, so marked *solved i guess :)

I've managed to install pfSense as a HVM. not sure if it makes sense to run it
as a trusted firewall but that is possible. I created 2 netvms called LAN and
DMZ and created bridges in those. i made a copy of pfSense HVM config and

I used qvm-pci -a sys-net 00:12.2, and got it going. Thank you very much.

So, I've created DVM-like sys-usb and it the first working version was easier
than I thought. Just make /var/lib/qubes/servicevms/sys-usb/private.img an
empty file. I have renamed the original file and performed "touch private.img".
VM sys-usb then still boots and works as USB input proxy. It do
so I followed the "DETAILED" version to upgrade from F23-> F24 , even
changing all my AppVMs to use the new F24 only to discover, that the
Template didn't upgrade.
So:
I see no point in deleting the template and doing the same thing again,
as there were no errors in the process.

Hi everyone,
I have followed the procedure on qubes documentation to setup the mac
spoofing service on the fedora-23 template:
Macchanger has been installed, the relevant files created and the
service added on sys-net VM.
However, after system re-start I run ifconfig on sys-net and the mac

I'd encourage you to try checking different boot options in the BIOS. EFI,
legacy, whatever. Try all of them. I'm unfamiliar with that hardware, but I've
had success with tinkering with those sort of settings for getting Qubes
installer media to boot. Also, I've never tried to boot Qubes install

Done and did run into something somewhat important (usb keyboard/mouse

kernel/vm-kernel builds, not yet figured out what's causing this.

I do it for reasons Andrew stated. Cause when you restore the templates from
backups if they have the default name I've had issues.
Also I keep the default templates for basic vms I don't customize and keep
separate template for more customized vms, usually which I consider less
trusted. So
yes I use /rw/config/rc.local. If something like thudnerbird that need gui
you can create directory ~/.config/autostart/ then put a .desktop file in
there. Then put it in /rw/config/rc.local file to launch at start.
