Greetings I am new to the OS and forum, I read thought some of the documentation and I was interested in knowing how to navigate the versions and bug fixes. Currently, I see we are 4.0.1; however, I’ve seen other mentions of stable versions in the forum. Is it correct to assume all the

[qubes-users] Turning a NetVM into an AppVM

2019-11-21 Thread nanopene
Hello there, I realized that everytime I made a new Qubes VM, I have been checking the "provides network" option turning it into a NetVM. I mistakenly believed that the option of "provides network" meant that the VM would need connectivity (yeah, I didn't RTFM), so now they are all NetVMs...

You probably did an installation without sys-usb. The installer defaults to not create sys-usb if during installation you have a USB keyboard attached. If that is the case, I find that following https://www.qubes-os.org/doc/usb-qubes/ and Auto Enabling Keyboard and Mouse input is a good

[qubes-users] Qubes UEFI Boot inner working information

Sorry about the delay, I had a week of ddrescuing a failing drive to distract me. I've managed to boot the Qubes DVD (EFI settings were originally preventing me) but didn't get the rescue process to work, it keeps asking me for passwords to non-Qubes luks partitions. I can open the partition
