Dear all,
I am doing spatial analysis using the r-code "local moran" from the library
spdep. After employing some tests it comes to me that you can use 3 kinds of
alternative tests in the code, namely: "one of greater", "two.sided" e
"less", each giving distinct results for the p-values statistic.
Dear all,
I have a small problem, and hope to get some help from you guys.
I have a shape file of Brazilian micro regions; in order to estimate spatial
correlation I need to construct a weight scheme of this shape. However, the
shape contains "islands" that unables its construction. I want to kno
Dear all,
I want to display a "compass rose" on a map, but I have no idea how to do
that. Do you know how can I display a compass rose on a map?
Thank you all,
Everton.

Dear all,
I have a small problem concerning labelling regions and areas in R. I want
to label a single polygon in a map. I succeed labelling to whole map, but
when I try a single polygon it did not work.
This is the command that I used:
#for the whole area it works#
plot(map)
centroids<-coordina

Dear all,
I am doing some spatial analysis using the library DCluster. In order to
identify possible "cluster locations" I apply the Kulldorff's method. I am
dealing with some technical problems, however.
Regarding the rotine that identifies the possible cluster locations, I
do not know which val
Dear all,
I am doing some spatial analysis for the Federal Unities of Brazil. At this
point I am dealing with some problems concerning "missing values" in the
spatial data set. My question is:
How can I create maps if I have missing values in some spatial units?
Can I solve this problem by inpu
