Hey All,
I have seen heaps of references to this in the list but I am looking for
something definitive, from anyone who has overcome it already.
I am trying to use the Framed-Group function of Radiator and have run

The past few weeks have been a self-help course in Radius for me. When I
came on board here at Techcom roughly a year and a half ago, I was hired on
as a help desk rep. In that time, I have moved up to the position of
system/network administrator. Suffice it to say that one of my stengths is

There is a patch for this
Hugh,
It turns out it was an issue at the MS SQL server. The server was not
accepting connections via TCP. After our resident NT guru went in and enable
TCP connections at the SQL server, DBI hooked right up with no problem.

Thank you.
I tried it and it worked.
Now, I have a C program that every 5 minutes send .../perl radpwtst -s

the lograd.txt file to see if I have reply from my Radiator server. If not,
it will send to me an E-mail.

Greetings,
I made a C program that asks an LDAP server for authentication.
I run it like this /usr/local/bin/radauth login_name login_password.
It returns 0 if ok, and 1 if bad authentication. Not sure how
to use it with AuthBy EXTERNAL since I did not see in the
documentation how to pass the pa
I am helping a customer to get a Radiator 2.14.1 configuration to perform.
They are using the AuthLDAP2 module to authenticate using a Netscape LDAP
server. Apparently the NS server drops the TCP session when Radiator unbinds.
This slowed everything down so much I saw hundreds of UDP packets over
Is this a multihomed router and/or does it have two paths out of the box
over to your radius server? You can use the:
ip radius source-interface
command to force radius out a specific interface if that is the case. I
haven't seen this 11.3 IOS's or 12.x so far. Though I get a TON of

Hi,
Why does not "DefaultSimultaneousUse" work in my configuration?
While "MaxSessions" works but restricts all per user "Simultaneous-Use"

Here is my configuration file:

Hi,
This is not a Radiator question per se, has anyone experienced this
gruesome 'bug' with Cisco?

hi hugh
I am connecting MSSQL through BSDI for authentication and accounting.

I have come up with a solution using PreAuthHook
