In reference to the post "I'm a big fan of SB players and recommend them
to anyone that will listen, but as soon as "can I use it as an alarm
clock" comes up I simply answer "NO! Buy the SB player for music, keep
your current alarm clock!"

My Radio tells me when it's storing a preset. Pop-up balloon as
suggested above.
I'm more worried about if forgetting them once programmed.
Any news out there? Thank you.

Another thing, this is related to MP3Tag, I have fetched the artwork for
a lot of the existing albums. I stated to both tag the album and put the
jpg file in the folder.
When I check though, there is a file called folder in there with
JPG;CHARSET=ISO-8859-1 File as it's file type.

It wouldn't make any sense at all for a third party to develop and
market their own battery for the radio. Unless you want to make
peanuts. Such a niche product would simply not provide a viable market
to enter for a third party. This isn't an ipod accessory.

Have you checked the market cap of both companies lately to quantify
that statement? ;) Not even close.

That wasn't meant to be a direct comparison, just meant as an

Only way I can add favorites is find them on "search" on shoutcast or
Internet radio "search". I click the "more button" before I play it and
add it that way. Some I have added on shoutcast didnt "take" , said
something about an error in playlist. Had to redo those.
Thanks

Sorry I dont see how under the downloaded owners manual. I did it once

The space is the blank character when you "dial". The cursor will move
forward one character and leave a space. Just click the blank spot for a
space.

I have had 2 Radios for a week now, and even after all the reinstalling,
and defaulting, and unplugging and replugging I have done on them for
other issues, this issue still remains.
I can stream anything for hours on end, but Sirius will reboot the
Radio after 5 to 20 mins.
Thoughts?
thanks!

Did you add the applet author's repository to your list under SBS
Settings > Plugins > Additional repositories? His repository is:
http://www.stagessound.de/bluegaspode.xml
Did you follow the other step-by-step instructions shown in the thread
that he referenced: http://forums.slimdevices.com/sho
I dont see any weather applets on my squeezebox radio. Tried to get that
Url you mentioned but said url was bad.
I was supp to to go to squeezebox server right by clicking change
library on my actual radio itself, too ??? then at server control
panel and enable and check stuff there under ...
I have had the back up alarm go off a few times. There was never any
funky music, just an ordinary alarm beep tone which seemed to be at the
same level that I set the radio for. Not too loud.
