yeah there wasn't any WOL paket 10 minutes before the alarm. I've setted
up a sniffer but there isn't any paket.
So it seems to be a bug? Is there any dev who can confirm that?

Robin - The nomenclature to do with the Squeezebox is very confusing.
The names of the different programs keep being changed, but older users
will refer to them by their old names.
Currently, there is mysqueezebox.com (MSB), which is the online server,
and Squeezebox Server (SBS), which is the so
I received the battery pack yesterday. The remote control in the package
shows this bug. So it should be fixed in my opinion.

Refusing to fix this bug, if it can be fixed, would be incredibly
stupid.

Here's a suggestion for those that don't think they'll use the extra
remote... especially if your radio's "home base" is in a bathroom. I
have mine plugged in at one end of the bathroom, but it's not near the
"throne" because there's not a plug there. I keep the remote within
reach of the throne f

The radio is supposed to send a WOL 10minutes before the alarm in

your server wakes up too late.
Alarm is set at 17:55, at 17:55:10 the fallback alarm fires, only at
17:55:29 your server is up and running.
Your server must be up before 17:55 for a working alarm.

Thanks mpower9. I was forgetting that squeezebox server was the online
way of operating the radio. Strange thing now though, is some comedy
podcasts have suddenly appeared in MyFavourites. I certainly haven't
saved them. Plus, MediaFly appears in both MyApps, and Podcast Player.

I checked the US site a couple days ago (the same day that a phone call
to support told me "not until late April"), and the US site still showed
"in stock". I did just check, and at least they've corrected that - the
US site currently shows "out of stock".

Yes, this really is a shame (that and the fact I can't get a battery in
Canada!)
Maybe they would consider adding this functionality? It's only software
after all. Some sort of toggle setting which says to keep the radio
'alive' if the power goes out but there is some charge remaining in the
