Marc or bluegaspode, let's focus on the logging. We all know the

As far as I know, alarms are never synchronized between players. If you

With my two booms, it will work perfect, without setting the alarm on

Interesting. Do you have power on/off synchronisation enabled? I thought
there was a thread recently about synchronized alarms and why it isn't
possible, but I might be wrong.
I don't use the alarm, but if I did, I would not expect the Boom in the

I used the Synch software and selected by folder. This worked

I wonder if Logitech will pay attention...or if the survey is for

I know you people have never heard of this issue before :)
and I did read numerous threads here on this issue and am emailing a
Logitech support person.
But still no matter what I try my SB radio can never play internet
radio independent of my PC. I set up my squeezebox account on my pc
On my SB, I set it to play my current playlist (BBC) but it plays the
Musical Sounds - Barn Fire. If I go to mysqueezebox and look at the
alarm settings this is what it shows it's going to play. There is no
'Current Playlist' option. This sounds as though you're having the same
problem as me.
Hey,
I use Indigo automation software and was hoping there might be some way
to route the text-to-speech it can generate thru my Squeezebox Radio?
Maybe Airfoil?
Thanks,
Carl

If SBS runs on same PC as automation and PC is running windows or Linux
then you could use WaveInput plugin. There will be a slight audio

If PC automation is not on SBS server and PC is using Windows or Linux
then perhaps you can use VLC to stream audio as an http stream. There

Thanks. My server is a Mac Mini running Leopard.
Any ideas for that?

In this case doing the text-to-AIFF on the Mac is easy. So no need for
sound device kludgery.
This leaves the question of how to make SqueezeCenter play a file (that
is not in the library) and then go back to whatever it was doing.
Ideally go right back to the track position it was at in the

An alternate solution (only applicable to Radio and Touch) would be to
mix the speech into the output stream on the client.
Yeah, that could be pretty cool. Pipe TTS sound to aplay via ssh,
pause playback via CLI or Perl code if you want to only hear the TTS.

Thanks all. I'm a newbie at any form of coding so this is likely

It's $40?

If it's an SC plugin I would expect it to be GPL. In that case, it
