I am looking for a way to control the power state of another player from
the Radio, the way you can do through the excellent OtherPlayers plugin
on the SBC.
I know I can control e.g. the volume of another player by selecting it

I'll take a look at using OtherPlayers on the Radio as well.
However, there's something strange with how the Radio works in this
regard. If, as I described in my previous post, I choose a Classic
player under "Choose player" on the Radio, and then hit the hardware
power button on the Radio, two t

It's there in 7.5, just not on RadioTime feeds including streams in the
Internet Radio menu (these are supplied by RadioTime).
I agree, bitrate is an important piece of information when streaming
stations.
You've moved the goal posts on point 1 ;)
Yes, that is how my Radio works as well, without using the Other
Players plugin you can't turn off another player and then carry on
using the Radio.

My guess is that you are switching between SBS and MySB. If each is
running a different FW version then you will be prompted to update the
FW.
This happens when Logitech is preparing for another release or update.

Agreed, I changed the problem description :-). I misremembered exactly
what the problem was in my first post.
Still seems there's two problems regarding this.

On the logitech blog the following was stated on March 17. I was
wondering if anyone in the know still believes this to be the case, or
will the silence remain deafening and customers remain uninformed?

Hi,
I've been using the remote from a friend's defunct Squeezebox Classic
to operate my SB Radio. One of the things I've really liked about this
is that I could use the number buttons to access the silver 'stored
station' buttons on either side of the screen (which seems more

Squeezebox Radio owners who would like to gain access to BBC Listen

My SBR updated to 7.5.0.r8673 yesterday afternoon. Since then, it drops
whatever station I'm listening to and goes back to the clock display on
its own, at the rate of about once per hour on average.
Any fix for this? It never did this before the update.
thanks,

I've been having the same problems with the Radio.
Just to be sure, when you say to give it a fixed IP address do you mean
defining one in the router's admin page?

Greetings to all,
A few days ago, when pushing my presets, a preset dialogue box began

phenomena continues. I am running 7.4.2 and do not have a server.
Although I am not concerned about the preset dialogue box showing, I
