I think they just utilized the Boom remote for the Radio so as not to have another accessory item to manufacture and stock. The magnet does come in handy *if* you have a metal object near by. -- toby10 toby10's Profile:

Uuuhh.. my fault! Actually I prefer a very slim configuration of SbS and I have most of the plugins deactivated. And so I also had Extension Downloader (v1.0) switched off. That's it. Now I reactivated it and everything works fine with your patch! :) Thanks for your support to get it working!

As far as I know, you might get the battery working properly with 7.4 but it might not use (charge?) it optimally. The battery shipping was delayed mainly because of the firmware problems which, I guess, were fixed with the introduction of 7.5.x. -- szalik

I would recommend it if it costs $50 or less, and came with the battery pack. For $150+ it's way too frustrating! I usually have mine shut off by itself at least 2-5 daily. Often times when I'm listening to a podcast that requires you to start over at the beginning. It's way too buggy and tech

You can try to unplug the Radio when it gets stuck on the FW update, plug back in and try again. To get around the update (if it won't update and you just want to use the Radio) scroll down on the update screen and select Help. Then hit the Home button. Be aware that until MySB updates to 7.5.1
