I ordered the touch remote cause the Radio remote was not available

When I take the radio elsewhere I dont know which way to point my Radio
to receive the wireless signal. So where is the built in antennae or
whatever it is called?? on the front? Back.??? I dont have wireless
here in my house dont want it. But take it to a friend house to show
how it works.
You shouldn't need to think about where the antenna is situated, as long
as the wireless signal is good. But if it interests you, my guess is
that it is in the handle.

I can't say for sure, it's a long time since the design and internals
have been discussed, but I believe the Radio has multiple aerials with
different orientations to account for different directions to the
wireless AP/router.
Other than in a few specific situations, 802.11 is not very
Although I have no intention of opening my kit up, I suspoect they are
omni-directional. You may get a small blackspot where it may struggle
but at 2.4GHz, a quick shift a few inches either way should sort it as
long as you are not out of range completely.

I have tried again and it is the same.
My server is running. I can browse and play my albums in the library.
Restarted the radio as instructed but software update still says
7.5.1r8837 as the latest software. The only option is to re-install
7.5.1r8837 firmware.

If the Radio is connected to SBS 7.4.2 then I don't see how it could

I have read a few threads on making your own packs for the SBR and am a
little confused.
Are we sure they are Nicad/NiMH?
LiOn cells have been used in portable kit for many years and require a
completely different charging regime compared to NiCad/NiMH cells.
Sure they will charge and work,

I did. I was thinking the same as I had purged 7.5.2 on the server
before installing back to 7.4.2. However, the radio still downloaded
7.5.1 firmware. Probably from squeezebox.com.
I have even tried reset to factory settings and went through cold

This may sound like a stupid question, but I don't see any numeric keys

Pretty pathetic that I have to ask this question here but would anyone

Is it possible to add more than 6 favourites to the SBR, ie. can you

I presume you mean Presets not Favorites. There is no limit to the
number of Favorites.
I know you can have ten Presets (0-9) but you would

1. Per suggestion in the earlier thread, I tried Juice, but had many
problems with it crashing. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium.
2. I explored Mediafly and it seems to have a lot going for it--lots of
content and a direct connection to the SBR. So far, however, I
