Magic, and also a big thankyou from me as well. Logitech Oz wont even
bring in the radio to this country. But I now have both and it is a
great addition.

Well, there are enough bug reports for all of the issues, but the most
basic issues are of course the completely broken alarm functionality
and the fact, that even switching the crooked thing off doesn't work in

There are dozens of less important design flaws and bugs, bad interface

Well, I generally like my radio.
What I don't like:
- Slow user interface, even with own server
- lack of customization (as said before)
- alarm not as solid enough to trust it entirely (always have a mobile
ready)
- small fonts for the time di

Slate,
I know about SQLite, had it installed a couple of times. But its still
far from stable. Running rescans was a game of chance.
But the scanning times were indeed very fast, couldn't say the same for
the user interface though.
At the moment I'm running the server on my SheevaPlug with an a
I guess we don't know when the next firmware update is expected.
@aubuti: I appreciate the suggestion, but I don't want to setup/run
SBS.
Hopefully the next update will resolve the repeating alarm issue as
well as the disappearing radio station art. Neither is a deal-breaker
for me, but they are
Aha! I had turned off *all* sound effects, including None! Seems like
that shouldn't be possible, but it is. Now all is silent. Thanks!

supporting it since 2008 and WMP 11.

Well, you are "selecting" which Sound Effects you want. Selecting None
de-selects all of the sound effect categories.
So you are sele
I think everyone here who has responded in this thread with the essence
of "Why are you so anxious for an update, my SBRadio is running fine"
are all SBServer users I suspect.
Some of us running exclusively off of MySB.com have a boatload of
issues, so the issues may not be firmware related but M

That would be logical, yes. But what I had in fact done was uncheck,
deselect, all of the options, including the None
