I recently installed the weather app and the instructions say to make

The weather app shows up in the SBR Extras menu. But how and where do
I enter the location and temperature format info.

I had it running for most of the day on Ethernet, and despite the issues
in configuring Ethernet noted above, things are much more stable. I
have not seen the SBR get out of sync with the playlist on the Server
yet. This leads me to conclude that probably all my issues, save the
DHCP ones, are

Got my radio today and it is going like a breeze.
So what you are saying that the podcast plugin on the server has no

Yes I did just test it by adding one of my podcast's in

The newer players (Touch & Radio) do not have the full set of web UI
menu's and player configuration as does your Boom.
All menu organization and player settings are only on the player itself
for your Radio.

Hello,
I recently bought a Squeezebox Radio and a Boom.
I set up the Boom via my browser (both connect to my Squeezebox
Server). So far so good.
I wanted to do the same thing with the Radio but I fail to find all the
settings -- I see some of them but for instance the ability to set the
menus (wh

I have had the same problem in the past. As you said resetting the
presets usually cures it.

Thank you for taking the time to answer!
I don't think it's my network. I use a very, very popular (in Germany)
high-quality router with stock configuration.
The model is AVM Fritz!Box 7320. I think they aren't well known outside
of Germany, but are THE premium router brand here (and they do lit
Just FYI for everyone who is interested in this thread: In
anticipation of trying the SBR with an Ethernet Bridge I brought it
over to a wired port and attempted to reconfigure the unit for Ethernet.
Believe it or not the SBR was incapable of getting a DHCP address
from my Cisco Router.T
I don't think anyone else shares the exact problem you have, and I
suspect it is caused by something in your network setup.
So unless you do something about your network, it's probably not going
to fix itself.
You could try these settings, they work well with DD-WRT r14896 running
on a WRT-320N

Does it lose its WiFi connection, or just the connection to the server?
Mine loses its server connection every so often, even with great
signal. It then shows the blue signal symbol and must be power cycled
(pulling the plug or holding power button for three seconds to shut
down completely, then
So, this problem hasn't been fixed?
It's become a major annoyance in the last few days; the Radio now loses
connection multiple times a day, sometimes within minutes.

How are you accessing that station? If you are placing www.702.co.za
into Tune in URL or Favorites that won't work because that is a web
site not a web stream.

Great idea!!! mp3michael. I've been trying to find something like a
RadioTivo since the 90s
(http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=81243). The closest
thing is RadioTime, which has evolved into TuneIn but their recording
portion has been suspended.
Here's some problems I've run into in
