Added my observations to the following bug report, which I think should
be about the same problem (and this bug is assigned already to Andy, so
he'll get an email notification :) ):

Well - resaving the libraries made no difference.
I even deleted them and recreated and that didn't work either
Then I noticed that the one multi library which was working - actually
wasn't. It was just including everything in the main library and
ignoring the exclude I'd specified

I tried it myself now.
Changed the line
Code:
$w = EV::timer( $when - $now, 0, sub {
to
Code:
$w = EV::periodic

Hi cran,
yes these ntpd logs seem to show the culprit. The internal clock runs
too slow and as the timer of the Squeezebox server is using a
'monotonic' clock as to the documentation, it does not adopt.
ntpd ajusts the server time, but Squeezebox Server right now does not
care.
I'll try tweak
ttodd,
In your server log at around 5:00 the following lines appear:
Code:

Master Bedroom Radio

Seems like it's more broken than my Touch. I'm out of ideas, other than
a replacement. Sorry.

Attached are this AMs logs from both the radio and the server. I did a
factory reset on the Radio so that I could start fresh and when I did
it upgraded to 7.6 The first alarm was the fallback again and as
usual the second alarm worked just fine. Also the first alarm failed
totally on Wed m
Have just been back in contact with Logitech Europe and the response
this time was much better. The support person I spoke to said the Touch
needs a warranty replacement so I've just forwarded all the details and
wait in hope :)

Thanks for your thoughts. I've tried the factory reset several times,
waiting it out in case something was going on in the background, and
leaving it off for days (weeks, even) before trying again.
I haven't contacted Logitech yet, because I'm in Canada and bought all
my Squeezeboxes from Solutio

I have a similar problem with a Touch. If it's ever restarted (e.g.
after installing an update) there a 50% chance it'll "white screen" on
me. Everything works except the display. If I leave it powered off for
24 hours, it comes back perfectly fine. You might give that a go.

Done!
But I seem to have the "switch on issue" also without having synced any
SB devices...

It might be worth to try if a factory reset solves it, you can trigger a
factory reset by holding + button down when starting the Radio.
If that doesn't help, I'd contact Logitech support.
