Unfortunately I received (and installed) 2 updates, which were a few
days apart. Both had these new problems, so I can't go back now - from
what I understand.
My main issue is that each update should improve the software, not
degrade it seriously. So wh
Ok I found out I have some wireless issues here.
I swapped my SB's and as was predicted, the problem remained in the
location. so I hooked up my wifi SB to another access point which
REDUCED my signal quality to approx 36% (was 87%) However now the SB
will play the mentioned radiostream and even

If they are AAC then they will be transcoded into Flac and so have a
higher bandwidth than 128k.
It is possible that the problem is due to signal interference rather
than merely strength. If so, then increase the Radio Station Buffer

Yeah, I'd look into any/all potential networking & WiFi troubleshooting.
It could be receiving your WiFi at 85% but may also be getting
clobbered by other signals.
Some very basic WiFi tweaks (1-5 require admin access to your router to
try these simple changes):

You can downgrade your player via SBS server to any previous version you
wish. All previous SBS versions are here:

Install SBS, connect player to SBS, downgrade firmware, uninstall SBS
(if not needed).

Are we again getting a period with downtime? The last couple of days I
had several dropouts (and also uploads of new software versions). Today
also the mysqueezebox site had dropped out (504 Gateway Time-out
nginx/0.7.67).
Is there again a long period of debugging ahead?

I have something like that since a week (in Europe). My Radio has lost
his name and is called "Nil". Also, lost mySB.com conection : presets
don't work, no menu items for my favorites... Sometimes it works with
tuening off then on, but not always.
Is it a new bug or a mySB.com failure ?

Same type of problems here. Ever since I have the radio, these problems
comes in periods, around software updates to the radio and to the
www.mysqueezebox.com site. I saw the 'nil' too. They are not playing
spades ;-) - its a bug again. I guess we are in beta testing mode
again... sigh

These provided links seem to be two different channels to me.
By chance I a saw a crate full of them at 'media markt' the Hague, nl.
Strange that the shop where I initially bought the squeezebox radio
never bothered to e-mail me about the batteries FINALLY becoming
available.

I are very greedy and we would also like the links to the audio streams
for the C-SPAN2 and C-SPAN3 channels.

Thanks for the suggestion for the Afterwords podcast. I'm already a
subscriber, but you probably agree with me that it isn't enough. I
live in the UK, so I can't see these shows except on the computer.
It's much easier to listen to them, which I've been doing for years.

I have the same problem on my Touch, in addition I lose the Favorite
menu on the Home screen and all my presets. It has happened twice. I
run 7.6.1 r9486, this never happened before that upgrade.
