I've been having trouble with a new router, so I went back to my old one
(Linksys wrt160n) and also took the opportunity to change the SSID to a
new name. I kept the WPA2 security with the same passphrase. I know
the wireless network is working, because my music server and a

The BBC Radio app installs fine on my Radio but it doesn't appear in
the App Gallery on my controller (controlling a Receiver) - even if I
uncheck the 3rd Party Apps Recommended apps. Any ideas?

You are not hiding your ssid but selecting it from the networks
discovered by the radio ?
Take the radio really close to the router and try ?

I made the mistake of upgrading to 1.1.10 yesterday.
Now I find BBC Radio disappears from my Home menu after I aswitch
between my media server and mysqueezebox.com. Sometimes rebooting the
radio restores it. Trying to re-add it to the home menu is often
impossible, pressing + sinmply doing
It's not a Logitech app ... it's the effort and work of a volunteer

I grateful we even have it at all. Switch off updates if you don't
want any upgrades.

Logitech should not be designing their Radio so that the people who

The update is intended to make it stably stay in the internet radio

Until today it seemed to stay put in the Home menu.
Now Switch to Mysqueezebox.com - that's an example of something that
wouldn't stay
Yes, Logitech can be frustrating ... but they do have a semblance of
support for users - it may not be brilliant, but at least they do
reply.
Compare that with other internet radio outfits who completely ignore
their users - or worse pass resonsability over to brand names (most of

Do you mean Switch to MySB.com randomly would not appear on the Home
menu at all when it should have been present?

Really it would of course disappear when you already are at
mysqueezebox.com and reappear again when switching back to
I've moved the radio into the same room as the router and it still won't
connect. I took the whole network down - modem, router, devices - waited
10 minutes and brought it up again. All devices re-connected OK, except
the radio still won't connect.
Out of curiosity, I got out my old SQueezebox

Any ideas why BBC Radio doesn't appear in the App Gallery on my
Controller?
I checked on my Touch's App Gallery and it does appear when I use the
Touch's screen directly, but it never appears when using the
Controller, no matter which player (Touch, Radio, Receiver) it is
controlling. Obviously

Because it does not run on a controller/receiver - it is for Radio and
Touch only.

Ah, so this is the case even if the controller is controlling the
Touch?
It looks like then I'll have to stick with the BBC iplayer plugin for
those devices.

Well, it is finally working. I'm not sure what it was, but starting
again from scratch has apparently fixed it.
I re-installed the Radio software, restored both the Radio and the

the power cables. Waited an hour. Then
Forgot that one, automatic channels :-/ it's advisable to not use that
