wifi ? and not reconnect. I can not even force the radio to reconnect

You were right to challenge my guess, that the power button was somehow
to blame. This was not the behavior you'd expect from a "soft-press"
button.
The charger was indeed faulty. Luckily, I had another 18V charger lying
around, and that did the trick. Cherry on the

The fact that you can hold the power button down and all is well, makes
no sense to me. The switch appears to be momentary, not maintain.
So after thinking about it, I thought of something unlikely, but maybe
possible. The power supplies tend to fail over time, but also, with the
booms
