How could tech support resolve issues that are caused by buggy firmware
and server setup? Tech support can help people who are not able to
setup their network or whatever, but it's obviously pointless to call
tech support if the product simply doesn't work because of bad design

Sorry for the bad experience you had, but my contacts with logitech's
tech support have been first rate so far, and the forums here have
solved most other questions/problems I had.

I would recommend it if it costs $50 or less, and came with the battery
pack. For $150+ it's way too frustrating! I usually have mine shut off
by itself at least 2-5 daily. Often times when I'm listening to a
podcast that requires you to start over at the beginning. It's way too

Yes, in the background.
Why SBS or TinySC connecting to MySB is so different and more reliable
than a player by itself I cannot say.

Yes, I only use the Touch's TinySC server. But doesn't the Touch use
MySB for Slacker, Pandora, and other Apps?

Radio : will be good product later... For the moment it's better to
wait for Logitech to solve the main problems (alarms, radio set it off
alone,...).

Love my SB Radio. I use it every day for over 8 hours during work. I
never use the alarm and I've never had problems. I mostly stream
internet radio and maybe play some stuff from my itunes library off my

I've had the Radio since early this year and generally happy with it.

I've purchased 4 SB Radios so you can say I'm a happy SBR owner. The SBR

Audibly fills the space nicely. Plus you are already familiar with

from EU MySB users
I have no complaints. I bought the unit about three weeks ago to be an

I would also choose a Boom instead of a Radio for a garage. I actually
have been using the Radio's alarm for the past 5 months, and it has
always worked for me. The rest of it works fine, too. It just doesn't
sound as good as a Boom, nor can you read the screen from across the
room.
