(Just received new Radio ... setting up!)
Help needed with Radio interface settings:
On the Touch when a stream is playing I can go back to the Home menu
(mess about, etc). After a few moments of inactivity by me, then the
screen switches back to Now Playing screen.
On the Radio, if I go to
Just went through all the settings the other day. It is under settings
Screen screensavers delay. Also make sure you have the when
playing screensaver set to something other than none.
PS: when you don't want to wait for the screensaver delay, hitting home
again will return you to now
OoooH thanks muchly!
Now, to sort out the favourites (Touch vs Radio vs mysb).
Otherwise - I'm impressed so far!

when it does loes signal I have to shut it down and restart to connect

what WIFI
Got a squeezebox last week and i have been able to connect it to my wi
fi, but sometimes it loses the signal and won't reconnect.
i try to log onto it again and it makes me enter the retuer password
which I do and it says Can't connect with this password
Can't get it to work atall at the moment
Which player model?
Is your routers name (SSID) unique to your router? i.e. Not simply
Linksys or DLink?
Are you certain the passphrase is correct? No spaces (particularly at
the end)?

It's a Squeezebox radio, my reuter name is unique and password is deft
correct because it just worked but then it lost signal again after just
2 songs.
Could it be to do with interference from other wifi stuff like my phone
and my laptop

So I just put the squeezebox in the other room where no other wi fi
stuff is and it works fine, in the room it was in i also had my laptop

This could be because you solved the interference problem OR in the
other room you get a stronger
I did some expriementing, took my phone in the other room and within
seconds squzzebox lost it's signal, took the squeezebox back into the
room wihout the phone and it worked fine brought phone back in went
down again, think the laptop is also causing issues so basically being
near any other wi
This is not generally a problem for most users, but it certainly sounds
like it is for you. I suppose as long as you can set things up so that
the touch is not near the phone (that should be easy) or laptop, you
should be ok.
is your router a b, g, or n. if you can use g only (no b on the
g router, i think changing the wireless channel might be the only
solution

My Radio has unusually good wireless signal. I took it to the far end
of the house where my laptop loses signal and it just keeps on working.
My cell phone was next to it and it still worked fine.
I'm using all N devices which are known to have a better range than G
or B. Maybe you could get a

What kind of phone is it?
Mobile/cell - in which case does your phone have a always or sometimes
on wifi connection?
or
Home phone - in which case is it a wireless/cordless DECT type?
Although wireless interference is a definite possibility, if it's a
mobile causing the problems it might
