If you're feeling low budge, Colorado Cyclist also makes a perforated and stitched synthetic tape that appears leatherish (similar to the Fizik stuff). The colors look perverse for outfitting a Rivendell but black is always safe. It's comfy, lasts forever, and looks/stays clean.
